Dear C. J.,
It seems only yesterday we were holding you in our arms for the very first time; we had waited for you nine years! You have brought us joy throughout your young years, and now your high school graduation is upon us. Uncertain as to where these past few years have gone it has been our honor and a privilege to be your parents. We are thankful to our dear Lord for you in our lives.
Your hopes and dreams are our hopes and dreams. Your strong determination has molded you throughout your young years and given you strength to draw from within. May this same determination and strength carry you across your next journey and through life.
We share with you some practical advice on how to make your journey, the first key is to know your dream clearly. Look inside – ask yourself what you truly love – rather than looking outside. Remember: Dreams come from inside, not outside. They must be owned by the level of your soul, when you are clear then set yourself on that path and keep traveling.
The second key is perseverance. This is your life, your soul, your dreams – the most precious things you have. Keep them alive! If you stay true to them, with a bit of luck, you will succeed. It will be a remarkable journey!
Society confuses celebrity with heroism. Qualities like courage, perseverance, hope and compassion, these qualities of heroes are shown every day by everyday people. These qualities hold our families and life together and give our life meaning. These are our hopes and dreams for you our precious son.
Love you with all our being,
Mom and Dad
